Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Filicudi and Alicudi: seven islands unlike one another, reached by hydrofoil from Milazzo and connected daily. They can be seen by private boat or by using one of them as a base.
Stromboli is the only permanently active volcano in the world, and the sciara del fuoco seen from the sea at sunset is the strongest moment of any Aeolian programme. Salina, greener, is the right choice for food and quiet.
