The idea behind Hidden Sicily goes back to 2014, when Marco Lauria and his future wife Irina Maslennikova set out to build an incoming travel project that would showcase Sicily through authentic itineraries and professional local services.
Our story
From 2016 Marco Lauria carried the project forward within the travel agency he owned. In 2026 Hidden Sicily became part of Kalesa Viaggi, which handles the technical organisation and operational development of requests generated through the portal. Marco Lauria continues to manage the social channels, the website and client relationships.
Our mission
We support Italian and international travel agencies in creating itineraries that include Sicily, Southern Italy or multiple Italian destinations, providing local knowledge, supplier selection and operational coordination.
How we work
We do not rely on a rigid catalogue. We start from the client profile, budget, timing and interests to create a realistic and personalised programme.
Who we work with
We work with FIT travellers, small groups, leisure groups, weddings, events, incentives and MICE, as well as travel professionals looking for a reliable local partner.
