DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN SARDINIA

Arrival at Olbia airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and night.

DAY 2 ARCHIPELAGO DE LA MADDALENA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Arzachena where we will visit the Tombs of the Giants of Coddu Vecchiu
Continuation to Palau following a panoramic road that crosses the famous “Costa Smeralda” famous for its
beautiful coves and clear waters. Boarding for the archipelago of the island of La Maddalena, the main
island of the archipelago composed of twenty islets, all with a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Visit the
small town and free time for shopping. Lunch (optional) at the restaurant and return to the mainland. Return to the
hotel with a short stop in Porto Cervo, preferred place for the Jet Set. Dinner and night.

DAY 3 TEMPLE PAUSIANA –
CASTELSARDO & ALGHERO

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Tempio Pausania crossing the wild nature of Sardinia. Walking tour of the
small town entirely built in granite marble, as well as the town hall square and the cathedral. Continue to
Castelsardo through the Doria Valley. This fishing village is located on a trachite headland dominated by the Doria
Castle. Lunch (optional) at the restaurant. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of Château Amiral Doria (including
entrance tickets) with its splendid view of the Corsican coast. Visit the historic center and walk through the typical
streets of the village, whose main activity is the viminiera.
Prosecution to Alghero. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 CAPO CACCIA – ALGHERO

Breakfast at the hotel. • Departure by bus to visit the most interesting naturalistic site of Sardinia: Capo Caccia and
its famous cave “Grotta di Nettuno”. Boarding a boat where you will leave the port of Alghero to admire the
sumptuous cliffs of Capo Caccia on which open several natural cavities, the most famous of which is the Neptune
Cave from where you can admire the interior with its large sculptures in stalactites and stalagmites that are reflected
on the inner lakes with crystal clear waters. Return to Alghero. Lunch (optional).
In the afternoon, visit the beautiful city of Alghero, fortified city of Catalan origin, having preserved its old streets and
typical old neighborhoods. Among the maritime cities of the island, Alghero is best known for its production of coral
objects. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 BOSA – THARROS – BARUMINI &
CAGLIARI

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Bosa by the beautiful panoramic road, along the sea. City tour on the
banks of the Temo River. City dominated by the castle of Serravalle (12th century) having preserved its streets,
arcades, bastions and stairs that give it a picturesque appearance. Visit the Church of Saint Peter (9th century),
one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic churches in Sardinia and the Church of Saint Anthony (15th century).
Continue to Tharros and visit the beautiful archaeological site by the sea. This ancient city was built by the
Phoenicians, and today you can admire the Roman and Punic remains. Lunch (faculty) at the restaurant. In the
afternoon, departure for Barumini. A city renowned for its nourag complex that is larger than Su Nuraxi, whose
remains date back to the Bronze Age. These represent, in fact, the most significant expression, from the architectural
point of view of the Nuragic civilization in the island.
Continue to Cagliari. Check-in at the hotel located in the area. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 CAGLIARI – NORA

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to the visit of the city of Cagliari, capital of Sardinia. City erected on top of
a hill overlooking the port and the gulf. Visit the historic center of Cagliari and the medieval district, including the
beautiful Romanesque cathedral in Pisan style Santa Maria built in the twelfth century, not far away, stands the
Elephant Tower, Pisan fortification of the castle built in 1307 as well as that of San Pancrazio another Pisan
fortification of the early fourteenth century, the church of San Saturno in Romanesque style and the Terrazza
Umberto Ie famous belvedere of the city. From Piazza Arsenale, where the Citadel of the Museums and Porta
Cristina are located, you can descend to the Roman amphitheatre (2nd century). Return to the hotel via Poetto
with its splendid white sand beach and the Molentagius lagoon, a nature reserve renowned for nesting pink
flamingos. Lunch (optional) In the afternoon, departure for the excursion to Nora. A city occupied by the Phoenicians
in the 9th century BC, it today represents the most important testimony of the Romanesque period in Sardinia.
Visit the excavations, including the amphitheatre and mosaics. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 CAGLIARI – NUORO – ORGOSOLO & OLBIA

Breakfast and departure to Nuoro, white city at the foot of Mount Ortobene, famous for its interesting ethnographic
museum (including entrance tickets). Continue to Orgosolo, pastoral village, traditional bandit pool. Typical lunch
(optional) in the restaurant with shepherds. Continue to Olbia. Arrival at the hotel located in the area. Dinner and night.

DAY 8 OLBIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided walk in the historic center of Olbia. Lunch (optional) Free time for the last purchases
before transfer to Olbia airport for the return flight to the point of origin
