Three islands half an hour by hydrofoil from Trapani, each with a different character: Favignana flat and cyclable, with its tuff quarries and coves; Levanzo tiny, with the Genovese cave and its prehistoric paintings; Marettimo wild, made of trails and cliffs above the sea.
They work as a two or three day extension to a western Sicily programme, and combine well with Trapani, Erice and the Stagnone salt pans.
